Angelica's first effort is a fine piece of melodic hard rock. Dennis' guitar playing combined with the vocal talents of Rob Rock and Ken Tamplin makes it one of the most memorable AOR discs in my collection. And since all the songs have strong, Christ centered lyrics, this becomes a cherished item for me. Production-wise it might not completely sound as good today as it did in 1989, because we set higher standard today. But it doesn't ruin the album either. The line-up lists Andy Lyon as their vocalist, but he doesn't sing on the album at all (reportedly he quit during the recording, due to Ken Tamplin driving him too hard in the studio!). I finally managed to replace the old tape with a CD.

Another fine effort from the Canadian hard rockers. The line-up is a bit different, but the music is essentially the same. Solid melodic hard rock, nothing less, nothing more. Dennis Cameron delivers his stellar guitar-playing, as usual. But I must confess, although Jerome is a good singer, he is no Rob Rock or Ken Tamplin. I also miss 1 or 2 more standout tracks. Still, a decent follow-up to their debut, another cool item in my collection.
