"WOW!!!!", was the first thing I thought upon hearing the title track, and album opener, on this record. These guys are awesome! And the rest of the album had me grinning in ecstasy, as I finally had found a new Christian metal band that played GREAT metal music. Biogenesis are not following trends, they are not trying to sound like everyone else, they have completely their own indescribable sound. The haunting vocals, ranging from Savior Machine-like melancholy, through Jimmy Brown (Deliverance) sounding smooth balsam voice, and also putting in some angrier stuff not unlike Machine Head or Mortification. And the music is also a blend of styles, ranging from power metal to death metal, all with a touch of progressiveness. I can't wait to hear what these guys come up with next! These guys are the Deliverance of the new millennium!!
