A very progressive/technical metal band from the US. Chuck Schuldiner of Death is the brain behind this. They can be described as Death with regular metal vocal. Highly technical metal that sometimes can be compared with Nevermore. Sadly both this band and Death are currently on hold due to Chuck's battle with cancer. December 13th 2001: Chuck lost his fight with cancer, and passed away today. R.I.P.

This CD was given 6/6 in Scream Magazine, and I had heard one song on a Rock Hard-sampler. But when I bought the CD I was a bit disappointed at first. I found it hard to find the structure in the songs. Luckily after a few spins some new listening doors opened, and the sheer brilliance appeared. No holds barred technical metal with spine-shattering vocals.
