'From The Grave' was released when death metal weren't considered a big deal anymore. And Christian death metal bands were not a common thing. I can't, for the life of me, understand why this was the only release by these guys. I understand that the record-company went under, but the band should have no problem getting signed elsewhere. Because in my opinion, the guys rip! I am not a big death metal fan, but when it's done the way Corpse do it, with emphasis on the melodies, I really dig it. It's not all about playing as fast as possible, it's not even about having the most grueling vocals (although the growls on here are pretty harsh), it's about the songs! Good songs, that invite me to listen again. Corpse is, alongside Mortification, the best Christian death metal band I have ever heard!
