In 1990 the Polish band named Turbo was writing material for their new album. But Wojciech Hoffmann, the leader of the band, threw out all of the other members and started to write the new songs from scratch. Litza, Lemmy Demolator and Tomasz Goehs found themselves alone, with some almost done, new songs. So they got a new lead guitarist in Aras, and named their new band Creation Of Death. They released their one and only album on the Under One Flag label, and then it is no surprise that these guys play thrash metal.

Never even heard about this band until I saw this album on sale through Nordic Mission. An old school thrash metal band, with Christian lyrics, once signed to the Under One Flag label, now that I had to hear. And I'm not regretting it! This is one of the coolest finds for me in a long time. Creation Of Death cranks their thrash metal, with some death metal hints, not unlike Sepultura once were. They also remind me a bit of Seventh Angel. The music is very the kind of metal your head just starts banging to immediately. The lyrics are a bit corny sounding at times, but you have to remember that these guys are from Poland, and they might not have had the best apprehensions in English. But although these guys are Polish, you get little to no accent on the vocals. That might be because of Litza's thrash/death tone of vocal delivery, which sound killer to this kind of music. Creation Of Death is one of the hidden gems in thrash metal, and a band that would have been great to follow further. But unfortunately, 'Purify You Soul' was their one and only album.
