This is the band Dee Snider formed after disbanding Twisted Sister. The album was dropped by the record company only two weeks before it's release. But several years later it tuned up again, when Dee decided to release it on his own. In 2006 we saw the first official release of this album. The band includes Clive Burr, formerly of Iron Maiden, Bernie Tormè, ex-Gillan, and Marc Russel.

Dee shows another side of himself on this one. Although not surprisingly different from the last Twisted Sister record, 'Bloodied, But Unbowed' serves up a bit more hard rock than metal. There is also a distinct southern/cowboy feel on these tunes. And of course, it's some GREAT STUFF! This album was pretty hard to get, as it was never officially released until 2006. But I bought it at a SMF concert. It was originally meant to be released by Elektra records in 1989, but they changed their mind 2 weeks before it's initial release! Go figure. 'Heart Of Saturday Night' is a Tom Waits cover. Some of these songs later appeared on Widowmaker's albums.
