Being such a huge Tourniquet fan, and especially the albums Guy sang on, I'm really not sure why I didn't pick this album up sooner. Well, I'm glad that I finally did. 'Diet Of Worms' is a fine debut album. They do not try to sound like Tourniquet, but still some reminiscent parts are bound to be, especially because of Ritter's unique voice. The music is not as technical as their former band. In fact, many of the songs are more a kin to worship-tunes, then neck-braking speed-metal. But make no mistake about it, this is still heavy metal! Also noticeable is the cover of U2's classic "Sunday Bloody Sunday".
