Fozzy is a spoof band in the same vain as Spinal Tap and Wig Wam. Here is a summary of their "story": In the early 80's Fozzy was an uprising band. But an evil Japanese record mogul tricked them into signing a restrictive contract with him, leaving them stranded in Japan in poverty. They could only sit and watch how all their great songs were being sold to or stolen by other bands, making them famous, instead of Fozzy. But now, 20 years later, they are back! Re-inventing heavy metal for the new millennium.
"We are HUGE rock stars!"

This is the sophomore album from the self-acclaimed biggest rock 'n' roll band in the world. And it is also my first meeting with this hilarious band. When I first read about them I was afraid that they would sound too modern for my taste, being that most of the members earn to their daily bread in the nu-metal band Stuck Mojo. I'm pleased to say that this is not the case. I'm also pleased to say that the original material here, written by the band, is also very good. "With The Fire" is a track that immediately stuck to my brain. After listening to the whole album a couple of times, I really started to love it. The only track I'm not so fond of is the last one. Very few bands can do acceptable Iron Maiden covers, in my opinion. In order to check out a band totally stuck in the 80's, give Fozzy a chance!
Killer tracks: I actually prefer the original material on this album
