I wanted so bad to get a copy of 'Outer Limits', as everybody was telling me how good it was. So at long last, I picked it up. And I was not disappointed! K-Octave play classic metal, with small hints of prog and power metal. If you are familiar with 2 of the members other bands, October 31 and Oracle, then imagine a cross between those two. Actually this band came along when Brian (from October 31) wanted to make use of some songs he had written, that didn't quite suit his main band. So the musical style isn't too far away from that band. Then add singer extraordinaire, Shawn Pelata (ex-Oracle), and you get a killer combination. Shawn's range and style is awesome. He has one of those powerful voices, that is just a perfect fit for this kind of music. Shawn quit the band after singing on this album, but fortunately he has now rejoined the band. Do yourself a favor, and check out 'Outer Limits'!

Killer tracks: Authenticate, Outer Limits, Descending Existance

Shawn Pelata guest appearances:

Liberty N' Justice - 'Independence Day'

Liberty N' Justice - '4 All: The Best Of LNJ' (as writer)

Liberty N' Justice - 'Light It Up' (also as writer)
