Although I was already aware of this Swedish band, my interest in them didn't really ignite until this release. And the reason for that gets pretty clear if you read the guest list on the album. Jeff Scott Soto (Axel Rudi Pell, Yngwie Malmsteen), Marty Friedman (Megadeth), Rob Rock (Axel Rudi Pell, Angelica, Warrior etc.) and others. All familiar names. And the one who has contributed the most, namely Ken Tamplin (Shout). Not only does he sing and play, but he has also contributed to the songwriting on the CD. And you can really hear it too. Just check out the Shout/Angelica sounding "In The Final Hour". The boogie rock song "Die" is another one where you can hear his contribution quite clearly. I'm not trying to take away anything form the band, because they seem competent enough on their own. But these guest artists make the entire experience even more enjoyable. I must say that I really like this album. There aren't that many bands around anymore that play this kind of music. And when a band do it as well as Laudamus do here, then I'm an instant fan. The track "Salvation" sounds a lot like "The Writings On The Wall" by Stryper.
Killer tracks: Lost In Vain, My Hearts On Fire, In The Final Hour, Die, Free, Hear My Prayer
