Classic true metal from Sweden. They sound like a cross between Manowar, Iron Maiden and Helloween. Members can also be found in Dream Evil, Raise Hell, Stormwitch and Valley's Eve.

Another astonishing band from Sweden. Man, what do they put in the water over there? Mystic Prophecy is not a groundbreaking band. But they manage to keep my interest up, mainly because of Mr. Liapakis strong voice, and Gus G's talent for writing crunchy riffs. It seems like everything that this guitarist play on, turns to gold. 'Regressus' is the bands second album, and I've never even heard about this band until now. But that is going to change. The chase for their debut is on, and any further releases will be snagged immediately. Metal with great riffs, strong melodies, yet remaining very heavy, and with a vocal performance reminiscent of great names like Bruce Dickinson and Ronnie James Dio! If I have to complain about something, it must be a lack of identity. But that is not to say a lack of quality. Also kudos on the two bonus tracks. 'Fighting The World" is of course a Manowar cover, while "Sanctuary" was originally recorded by Iron Maiden.
