This is a strange album. It has it's roots in prog-metal, but the band don't want to be labeled as such. They also incorporate influences from their Nordic Lap-inheritance. Sometimes I really enjoy this album, other times I can't find any reason to keep it! This has to do with the fact that 'Sanity Of Madness' needs a special mood to be fully experienced. I can't explain it, I can't put my finger on what it is. But I've grown to accept it, and put it on very seldom. So if you ever come across this album, make sure you give it several spins, because you just might discover the beauty of it, when you least expect it!

Also, guess what star-sign I am!!!! :-)

A short EP released as a teaser before a new album. And this time their Lap-inheritance is really present, as 3 of the 4 tracks are even sung in their naive language! There is just something appealing to me, as a Norwegian, to hear this Norwegian band's music. Still, this is a CD I keep merely for collecting purposes, and I'm not sure I'll play it much at all.
