This is not an usual CD-release, nor is this a usual band, in the regular sense. It's, like the subtitle of the CD says, A Progressive Rock Theatrical Production. The closest thing to compare it to is the big concept albums, like Savatage's "Streets - A Rock Opera" and Queensr˙che's "Operation: Mindcrime". But this album takes it even further. The story is the main thing here, and the music only plays a part in telling it. The 32-page booklet follows the story, and it is made so you easily can follow the characters in the play. Told in short the story is about a youngster, named Steven, who, although having been raised in a Christian home, decides to turn from God. The music is progressive rock/metal, not unlike the style of Ayreon. If you are interested in this project, check out their website at http://www.screamoftheguillotine.com/.

Killer tracks: It only makes sense if you listen to the whole thing in one go.
