I heard the title track from this album on a R.E.X. sampler back in 1995. I thought it was great. Since then I never managed to dig up any of their albums to buy. Now that I finally own it, I almost never listen to it. A mix of hardcore and thrash is not my cup of tea. I can appreciate the thrashier parts, and most of the music is ok, but the vocals just doesn't do it for me. It's not to say that Myk has a bad voice, but he just doesn't use it well. Screaming instead of singing. Funny thing though, his name means "soft" in Norwegian. :-)

Six Feet Deep's second, and last album, delivers pretty much more of the same. Maybe even more hard-core, and less thrash. I cannot seem to get myself to listen to any of these albums in their entirety. But they are good for venting every now and then. 'The Road Less Traveled' also became the last album released on the R.E.X. label, before they went down. So when I traded for this album, I thought I was getting a reissue. But what I got was the rare original pressing.
