Titanic formed in the fall of 1995. They hailed out of Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The band have included current and/or former members from Holy Right, Final Axe and Stryper. Titanic changed their name to Subdux for a short spell, but they only released a demo, and gave some concerts, before renaming themselves back to Titanic again.

Straight forward heavy metal, with Christian lyrics, released in 1996! Well, at least this band couldn't care less what the trend was at the time. They just played music they liked. I can't honestly say that I love this album. A song like "Gods Of War" is good. But unfortunately most of the other tracks get boring after a few spins. But if you like classic heavy metal, like Saint and especially Messiah Prophet, don't let my thoughts stop you from checking Titanic out. M8/Magdalene Records re-released this album in 2000. The reissue also contains 3 demo-tracks, recorded after Robert Sweet (Stryper, King James) officially joined the band.

After the name-return of the band, they recorded their sophomore effort for Retroactive Records. Not much have changed since the debut, although the ever revolving drums position is in fine Spinal Tap fashion. This is still straight forward heavy metal, done just slightly generic. This is the kind of releases that gives Christian metal a bad reputation. The repetitive choruses, the standard riffing, it is all hear. It's too bad, because Simon really has a cool voice. Oh well, I guess you can't like everything, now can you? And to make things even worse, I am totally nitpicky about the fact that the title of track 4 is listed differently on the track-list then what it is in the lyrics!! :p
