One of the countless Christian metal bands of the late 80's, and the first to sing to the Pakaderm label. Pakaderm later become infamous for over-produced AOR and hard rock. And X-Sinner was no exception. 'Get It' was the bands first release, and only one with David Robbins on vocals. What hits you first when listening to this album is how much they sound like AC/DC, both musically, but mostly vocally. David is a dead ringer for Brian Johnson! They do have just as much in common, musically, with bands such as Krokus and Def Leppard. 'Get It' delivers catchy melodies, and easy song structuring. It's about getting the listener hooked, and letting him/her remember the songs upon first listen. Let's see if you can listen to "Medicine" and not hum the chorus for hours after stopping the CD! This album is a reminder that a quality product doesn't always equal success. Being lumped in a white metal category wasn't the easiest way to gain recognition in 1989. Too bad, because this band had it going on!
